This new candy bar from Samsung might be thought to bite now with its
new tougher and stronger features. Well, you might be left behind on the ever
changing outdoor climate if your phone is out there cold and shivering – but not
the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2.
The IP67 certification sets it apart from the few casual phones.
The phone’s new features are:
• The phone is completely dust tight and therefore won’t let any tiny
elements inside.
• Water resistance is it’s forefront on the feature side. It can take a
splash for up to 1 meter deep for 30
minutes – to take a breath.
• And obvious enough, this tough guy can take under water video and
photos too.
• Tough design too.
The phone’s mainstream features are:
• Quadband GSM and Dual band with 3G support
• 14 mbps HSDPA connection speed
• 5MP camera
• 16M colors for a 4 inches capacitive touch screen
• Android OS 4.1.2 Jelly Bean
• 1Ghz processor
• 1GB RAM
• Wi-Fi 802.11
• 4GB built-in storage
• microUSB v2.
• And MORE HERE
The phone’s hang-ups:
• Slightly heavier
• Color disparity and reflective screen
• Smaller battery size
• Shorter water tolerance (30 minutes?)
This might not be the wildest offer when it comes to wild wireless
phone for the wild – taking into account Sony’s top-of-the-line gadgetry on the
box. But you won’t spend so much of this on the tough open anyway.
What more.
Well, the redefined Bluetooth connectivity (Bluetooth 4.0) gives your
battery a hand with its super low energy wireless connection. It is designed to
be constantly on, obviously because of its rugged use and purpose.
So, what’s the juice about phone – you buy this if you are an outdoor
enthusiast – runner, skier, swimmer, hiker alike.
☺☺☺
A very tough phone with Android - I love it!
